Un mondo di Pinot Nero

On Sunday 17th, at the Città del Gusto del Gambero Rosso in Rome, has been organized the meeting “Un mondo di Pinot nero: L’Oltrepo Pavese” (A world of Pinot Nero: The Oltrepo Pavese). Daniele Cernilli, co-director of the Gambero Rosso has closed the meeting saying these words “The Pinot nero in Oltrepo Pavese, in comparison with the others Pinot nero in the world, must be a wine with the nature of its region, without making the caricature of other regions. Just acting in this way it will be a great Pinot Nero of the Oltrepo Pavese”. This meeting has been the first appointment during the long day event organized by the Consorzio Tutela Vini Oltrepoò Pavese and the Gambero Rosso to present the Pinot nero of the Oltrepo Pavese to wine operators, wine shop owners, journalists and wine lovers.
The event has highlight the superior quality of the Pinot Nero produced in Oltrepo Pavese and its potentiality, showing for the first time an excellent showcase of the Oltrepo Pavese production both for the quality and the numbers. The event has also brought out the exclusivity of the Oltrepo Metodo Classico Rosé production.
