Do you really feel like eating a real Italian pizza, but you can’t fly to Italy?
We nominated Restaurant Arte in Antwerpen (Suikerrui 24) as the pizza place!
They serve the best pizza I had since I came to Belgium. I like it because the pizza is not really thin, well cooked topped with the stringy tasty mozzarella (which often is not the case at other pizza places).
The other night, I tried the Pizza Arte topped with parma ham in abundance and basilicum...ummmm so tasty!
Furthermore, we like the place as it is owned by real Italians for which the well-known Italian style is certainly present. The service is excellent and when you sit down at your table before you order, just to keep your mouth busy, they bring you some focaccia with olive oil and some green olives.
I had a look at the wine card, however in my opinion the wine prices are quite high. Our personal judge for the pizza and the place is 9/10.
