I am Emanuele Visigalli and as a hobby my father and I started to produce wine. I am neither an expert nor a technician; however I am truly fascinated by wine.
The idea DolceOltrepo is thus born from the desire to mingle my passion for wine, food and new technologies in order to transmit the latter to every distributor, restaurateur, wine shop or simply to all those who are fascinated by wine and are hence interested to broaden their actual knowledge of Italian wines.
Across this site, via various blogs and photographs you will be able to learn more about the particular wine producers, their stories and their work. You can also find recepies of local traditional dishes and as such discover the love they put into their work. You will find yourself longing for learning more about them and to taste the wines in the company of your costumers or friends.

By reading reviews, visiting fairs or simply by wandering on the hills of the Oltrepò in the province of Pavia, I discover local wine producers. Those who inspire me and are able to strengthen even more my love for wine, will be asked to promote their wine on DolceOltrepo.
In order to guarantee the word of mouth among those who already tasted the wines and those who would like to taste them, I offer the possibility to comment via a blog the choices of wine made and tasted.
What can DolceOltrepo offer you?
The possibility to get acquainted with a new part of Italy that produces excellent wines and local traditional dishes, that can be harmoniously combined and experimented at your home.
