I grew up in Oltrepò Pavese and Love brought me in touch with Belgium, a country of thousand facets where I got to know and appreciate your hospitality and cordiality, your kitchen and your love and passion for wine. You have all the “burgundies” aspects just as in my region, the Oltrepò Pavese, and as many of you I adore good wine and excellent food. For this reason, every time that I am in Belgium and visit one of your cities or I eat out in one of the many superb restaurants I feel like I am home, in Italy, in Oltrepò Pavese.
Now I would like to share some particular aspects of my region with your country, I want you to discover the wines and tastes I grew up with, wines that accompany the lunches with my family, friends and the wines that you will love to enjoy during aperitif; red and white wines, sweet wines and sparkling wines, all rigorously born in Oltrepò Pavese.

But where is the Oltrepò Pavese? The Oltrepò Pavese is also known as “Old Piemonte”, it is the biggest southern territorial area of the Province of Pavia that reaches until the mountains of the Alps forming a wedge between the Province of Alexandria and Piacenza. Beyond the river Po, it extends approximately 70 km of the skilful side of the river from East to West and towards the mountainous South.
With a medium production over the last 10 years of approximately 1.300.000 quintals of grapes, equivalent to 873.000 hl of wine, the Oltrepò Pavese covers two thirds of the Lombardian enology production and 1.6% of on national level.
